The folks at World of Bikes were angels. I am on a cross country bike trip. I developed an annoying squeak. I'd tried identifying and fixing myself without luck. Their mechanic saw it without an appointment, identified the issue right away, and fixed the problem in two minutes. (It was poorly lubricated jockey wheels). Meanwhile, I got great advice on a route to Davenport.

We enjoy the high quality honest and friendly service. They do a wonderful job with repairs, are honest about what can be repaired and how long it will take. The staff is knowledgeable about the items they sell and never pressure you to purchase anything. We live in Coralville but have chosen this shop because of the honest friendly service.

I stopped in twice now. Once just to get a sense for the different types of bikes out there (haven't ridden since I was a little kid and I'm 35 now) The first time the gentleman who helped me was very helpful in re-introducing me to the different types of bikes. Today, I stopped in and worked with Beckett, as I had a hard time finding the right size bike for me since I'm only 5'2, and I was so frustrated! He understood that I wouldn't be buying a bike from them (maybe someday when money gets better!) but that I needed a relative idea of what would work for me and my height. He was amazing and super helpful! He had me try a few different bikes and narrowed it down to a pretty good idea for what frame and tire size would work for me. Armed with that info, I finally found a mountain bike that fits me and is a dream to ride! I appreciate how you guys are friendly and helpful to even the individuals that just need good solid advice on bikes! Will definitely consider you for any servicing I may need, and definitely come back when I can afford one of the amazing Trek bikes I saw! :)

Very friendly/great customer service. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and greeted again by the tech who was going to service my son's bike. The next day, an associate was very helpful helping my son get fitted for a helmet. I plan to purchase a bike for myself from World of Bikes.
